What This Ballot Initiative Will Do
Every day, 100% service-disabled veterans and their families carry the weight of sacrifice for our freedoms. But in Colorado, an outdated 2000 property tax exemption for seniors and then amended in 2007 to include 100% Disabled Veterans—only covering 50% of the first $200,000 in home value—fails to reflect today’s economic reality, with median home prices over $500,000.
We’re leading a ballot initiative to fully exempt 100% disabled veterans TDIU veterans, Gold Star families, and surviving spouses from property taxes on their primary residence—just like 18 other states already do.
It’s time Colorado stepped up.
It’s time Colorado stepped up.
This isn’t about politics—it’s about fairness, dignity, and honoring service with real, tangible support.
Together, we can make a difference for the veterans who’ve given everything for our state and country
About Our Mission
Our Commitment
Why Now?

Colorado Veterans Support
Assisting Our Heroes
Colorado veterans deserve the same support already provided in states like Texas, Maryland, and Virginia
Our primary cause is to ensure specific veterans receive full property tax exemptions through changes to the Colorado constitution. By supporting this cause, you directly impact the lives of those who have served our country selflessly.
Community Connections
Building Local Communities
The median home price in Colorado has more than doubled since the original law was passed
We aim to create strong connections within the veteran community to provide support, resources, and a sense of belonging. By fostering these relationships, we can address veterans' concerns effectively and ensure they receive the assistance they deserve.

Advocacy for Veterans
Giving a Voice
This measure will appear on the November 2026 ballot, and we must build momentum now
Advocacy is at the core of our mission. We strive to amplify veterans' voices, advocate for their rights, and push for meaningful changes that positively impact their lives. Join us in advocating for those who have bravely served our nation.
Together, we can make a difference for the veterans who’ve given everything for our state and country.
“Freedom is not free. Let’s support those who paid the price.”
— Curtis Link, U.S. Veteran & Campaign Leader
